Joseph A. Knox, M.D.

Dr. Knox completed his undergraduate education at Northwestern University, earning a B.A. in Biological Sciences with a focus on Neurobiology. He obtained his medical degree with Distinction from the University of California San Francisco School (UCSF) of Medicine, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and completed a yearlong NIH TL1 research fellowship. He began his medical career as a transitional year intern at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center in San Jose.

Dr. Knox pursued his diagnostic radiology residency training at UCSF where in his final year, he completed a mini-fellowship in breast imaging. He continued his training at UCSF to complete a Musculoskeletal Radiology fellowship. In his role as a radiologist, Dr. Knox has a keen interest in sports medicine imaging.

Outside of medicine, he enjoys playing golf, exploring the vibrant Bay Area culinary scene, and spending time with his wife, son, and their dog, Moose.
